Z and I are off to New Orleans with his family for Christmas! We leave in a few hours, and I could not be more excited. None of us have ever been there before, so it shall be quite the fun adventure. I'll be sure to recap our trip upon my return late next week!

ReplyDeleteEnjoy - what a fun way to celebrate the holidays!! NOLA is a blast - if there are meat eaters in the group, be sure to get a muffaletta - maybe they can make a veggie version!? (preferably at central grocery in the french quarter). August is also a fabulous restaurant if you're looking for a nice dinner out!

DeleteYou MUST go to Herbsaint and get the duck confit. Best dish in NOLA in my opinion.

DeleteGo to The Commanders Palace!!! Its right in the Garden District and have 25 Cent martinis at lunch! I would recommend trying the turtle soup! It sounds weird but it was amazing! If you want a tapas bar go to the Three Muses. Its adorable….small and has great music! Its also near the spotted Cat and the local "beer bar"!! I went for 5 days and fell in love once! Have a great time and have some crawfish for me!
